4 months agoI have been going to Friendly’s restaurant for years even as a little kid and this place never disappoints. I always get the hungry man breakfast and it’s always so so delicious. You can’t beat a good ole little restaurant like Friendly’s. Always recommend coming here if you’re in Elwood! SUPPORT LOCAL 🇺🇸

10 months agoWe stumbled across this place going to my daughters house in McCordsville, IN. What a great place to stumble across! Everything about this place screams Indiana. Food, service and atmosphere are second to none. We love our new place! Thank you Friendly's for all you do.

11 months agoGreat home cooking! Breakfast was delicious, waitress was very friendly and checked on us often. Would definitely stop in again to try the Chicken and Noodles (Thursday Special)

2 years agoOur first time here and it was excellent! If you go do yourself a favor and get the gravy! All I can say is WOW!! We will definitely come back!! Thanks for the delicious breakfast!!

3 years agoThe tenderloins are small thin and tastes like some sort of processed pork. not bad but forgettable. the french fries were not cooked and still cold inside, we ended up throwing those out. normally I take a point off for styrofoam, but don't want to go any lower.

6 years agoFriendly's, at the corner of 22nd St. and Highway 28 in Elwood, IN, is easy to miss, but worth visiting. They open early (5:00 a.m.), and close early (4:00 p.m.!). This is Local Hoosier Diner Central. What the cooks and staff are aiming for, they consistently hit: a simple menu of good affordable reliable staples, served with a smile. I tend to favor the breakfasts. Service can be a little slow, understandably, when they're busy. There are booths, but some customers prefer the bar-stools. It's usually certainly not quiet, but that's part of the charm.
